One Sided Coin, the title track, is about my great grandpa and my perception of his dying thoughts on the last day of his life. An outlaw who left home in his early teens & rambled around. Fought for a living, then military man whom traveled west on a boxcar for a clean slate is the short version. Married and six kids later, he was killed cutting timber in the snow in 1950 outside of Randle, WA at 40 years old. The hard living occupations of these timber towns hosts some strong characters. Theres no two ways about it.
